OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL THOSE WHO HAD THEIR HOMES AND PROPERTIES DESTROYED.

WE WERE FORTUNATE, WE HAD ONLY DAMAGE TO OUTSIDE PROPERTY. NO DAMAGE TO OUR HOME. WE LOST A TOTAL OF 11 TREES (THAT WE COULD SEE) AND MOST OF THEM WERE OUR BEAUTIFUL PEAR TREES COMING UP OUR DRIVE WAY. ALL OUR BABIES (SHIH TZU) ARE FINE, PRETTY SHAKEN, BUT FINE! THANK YOU LORD!

WE WERE RUNNING ON A GENERATOR (THANK YOU LORD FOR GENERATORS!) AND  OUR ELECTRICITY CAME BACK ON THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY AT 11:00pm. WE WERE SO HAPPY! THERE IS REALLY NOTHING LIKE HAVING YOUR ELECTRICITY BACK ON . . .

EXCEPT MAYBE HAVING A BABY SHIH TZU ! LOL! :)

(of course you know I had to add that in there!)

SO CHECK OUT OUR WONDERFUL BABIES ;)

THANKS SO MUCH!      ~  MOMMA GOOCH

'Fishing'

(written by: Tristan)

Fishing is fun

I have a blue pole

You get to sit in the sun

Catching a big fish is my goal.

When I take out my boat

I start my motor

I float threw the moat

The bait has odor.

I get my pole ready

The line is tight

I try to keep it steady

To catch this fish I'd stay up all night!

'Tristan River ~ Our oldest grandson! I do believe this young man would rather fish than eat! He loves to go fishing anywhere! He will fish if it's cold, hot, raining . . . just give him his fishing pole and he is a happy camper!

He will call us up and say Papa and Nene, can I come over and fish? He will come over and out to the pond he will go! You will not see him (unless he wants to show off a big fish!) until it is time to leave! He caught these 2 in May, 2008. One weighed in at 2 lbs and the other at 1 lb and 3/4 ozs! Some nice fish!

A local lake held a 'Childrens Fishing Derby' in May. Tristan entered and won! He caught a 27" catfish! WooHoo! Way to go! We are so proud of you!

Congratulations Tristan!'
